Sherpa OPENDOAR Widget

Sherpa OPENDOAR is a “quality-assured listing of open access repositories around the world. OpenDOAR staff harvest and assign metadata to allow categorisation and analysis to assist the wider use and exploitation of repositories. Each of the repositories has been visited by OpenDOAR staff to ensure a high degree of quality and consistency in the information provided: OpenDOAR is maintained by SHERPA”.

The widget for this service was developed using the OPENDOAR API and is currently at version Number 0.131.

Widgets integrates with the OPENDOAR API and searches for repositories based on the search criteria.

There are lots of boxes which make searching difficult. There is no keyword searching at present. Output is well into development but need todying up a little.

Accessing the widget directly provides an xml error. This was needed because the netvibes uwa did not work without it.

Interface is often slow.
